The trustees of the Dewar Arts Awards are delighted to announce another round of awards covering a wide range of the arts. Despite the present financial climate they are continuing to support young people in Scotland with outstanding talent and helping them reach their potential.
Since their inauguration in 2002 the Dewar Arts Awards, set up as a memorial to Scotland’s first First Minister, have assisted over 200 young Scots, from all art forms to realise their potential. The winners of new awards in February 2009 are announced.
The latest Dewar Arts Awards will continue to enable more Scottish talent to thrive and work in their chosen fields.
Thanks to the Dewar Arts Awards another aspiring array of young Scottish talent will continue to flourish in their chosen fields. The awards cover a wide range of the arts including film makers, visual artists, dancers, actors, photographers, textile designers, writers, composers, conductors and contemporary jewelers.
With their latest set of awards, covering a wide range of the arts, the trustees of the Dewar Arts Awards have acknowledged another dazzling array of young Scottish talent.
