The Dewar Arts Awards support Scotland’s best and brightest of young artistic talent.
Over 300 awards have been made to young film makers, visual artists, dancers, actors, photographers, textile designers, fashion designers, knitwear designers, contemporary jewellers, writers, musicians, composers and conductors.

Congratulations to 2008 Dewar Award winner, Sean Shibe, on winning the Gold Medal and First Prize in the Royal Over-Seas League Music Competition, only one of two guitarists to achieve this throughout the competition’s history.
Since receiving a Dewar Arts Award, Sean has been a regular participant at international guitar festivals and competitions, performing in many masterclasses and winning prestigious music competitions.
