Roll of Honour at BAFTA Scotland 2015

This year's nominations for the Scottish BAFTAs have arrived, and we are delighted to anounce that three Awardees have received recognition for their exceptional work in the New Talent category.

Gillian Park, Steven Cameron Ferguson and Ian Forbes all received funding to support their studies at the National Film and Television School.

Gillian Park

Gillian received a Dewar Award in 2012 to support her masters studies at the National Film and Television School.  She is nominated in the Writer category for her film Flotsam - an intimate portrait of human failings and feelings set against the jagged, dramatic mountains of west coast of Scotland.

Gillian is a natural storyteller with a flair for comedy and a powerful, original voice. Read more about her here.

Steven Cameron Ferguson

Steven dreamed of studying at the National Film and Television School, and in 2011 he was offered a coveted place on the MA in Cinematography. The Dewar Arts Awards supported him in accepting this offer. Steven is now nominated for a Scottish BAFTA in Camera/Photography for his graduation film Sick - the story of a lonely, isolated mother.
